Paula Patton has a distinguished professional career in the field of acting as well as a producer and director. The actress is best known for her starring part on Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into an upper middle-class family in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mother enjoyed watching films and inculcated a love for films in the young girl too. Paula was involved with her school's cocurricular activities and was particularly drawn to drama. Paula was a fantastic actress, and she enjoyed performing alongside her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the setting for many school productions. She decided to become an actor. She was in at the University of Southern Cal's summer camp, and loved tremendously. The program gave her a three month assignment to make documentaries for PBS. The first assignment was to be an assistant to production for TV documentaries, after completing her task. Then she moved on to producing documentaries. While she enjoyed working in the field, she wanted to become an actor. Her acting journey began with a small part in the film romantic comedy Hitch, alongside Will Smith. In the years since, she's been in a variety of popular films and TV shows.
